I agree - the gendering of categories in the actor tree is a bit off-putting. I'm generally not really in the mood for gendering movies, since I'm not that much of a gendered person, but I can see how it is useful for certain audiences. I think it would be better to simply create an intersection for actors, like you said and use the existing categories. Yes, my example is a bit silly, but it is also an example of the ghettoization I was talking about. It takes a lot of labor to create that many new categories, especially in an active wiki like moz.org. Having a sub-cat for non-gendered actors could be quite easy. If we add more categories on the gendering of film categories, we will have many more sub-cats. As such, I suggest that we at least start with one more category intersection for film actors. My example was silly, but you can imagine that we would have many more categories for film actors than for actresses. It is a better solution than re-gendering every single category on the site. I also think that once we create a category intersection, it would be easier to add new categories in the future (whether it is a gender or an ethnicity category). --Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 18:01, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
What you have done is great and I think it's fair to give credit to you. However, the rest of my proposal is better. Sub-cats in the Category:Albanian_film_actors should be Gender Neutral. So, actresses should be in the Category:Albanian actresses and actors should be in the Category:Albanian film actors. This way, the gender can be taken care of at the top of the tree.
If another hacker does this, then they will be able to put any game on the ps3 in a matter of minutes! and that means that Sony will be out of the console market for good. We have seen what happens when sony doesn't support games anymore. Nintendo is turning a profit, now it is time for Sony to do the same, or else they are dead.
I don't see the appeal of owning a Sony PS3, and I don't see the value of the PS3 as an entertainment device. Sony has become one of the most untrustworthy companies in the gaming industry in my eyes. 827ec27edc
