Some of the files are not in e minor but in all other keys. This is due to the fact that the pianists where I recorded don't really know e minor so they play in e major most of the time. I've tried to be as transparent as possible concerning this so you can judge yourself the level of difficulty. I have also included the file where the composer has given permission to use the material. In practice this means that you can use this music for anything. It also means that you can place the THEME files in other compositions and so on.
I have also prepared the pdf files. They are available in two versions. The first is a compilation of all the files per each theme. This way you can easily see the consistancy of the sequences per theme and how to use them in practice. The second pdf contains a selection of the most interesting themes. Since I can't envisage every possible situation with a Theme, these themes are a good way to get a feel of the essential data. All the pdfs are also available on the web site.
These files are very hard to play. Most of them are played in a very clear stream of music in which you don't have a moment to think about the timing. This leads to some passages being difficult to play. One example is a phrase that has to be played very often. I have mentioned this in the pdf and suggest to check the pdf for some tips. But the bottom line is that these files can be very tough. They can also be quite tricky to prepare for performance. I say this because there are some parts that look very simple but are actually very hard to play. Such passages can easily lead to mistakes.
